Spiritually speaking, how can anyone know which religion is the “right” one? How do you determine whether one faith is true and others are not? Honestly, outside of having a personal relationship with God, there’s no definitive way to prove that any religion is right and the others are wrong. In a sense, life after death reveals whether religion was man made to control the masses or God given for guidance. And since we’re approaching the anniversary of September 11, (a day that will always be remembered in American history) it’s important to acknowledge how that day shaped public perception of Islam. Research shows that 9/11 dramatically intensified Islamophobia in America—negative stereotypes, jokes, hostility, and suspicion toward Muslims surged in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.
