People often pressure Black communities to forget or minimize their history, but learning about events like this makes that impossible. It also raises a deeper question: if this happened, what else hasn’t been told? As a Black man, confronting these truths can be frustrating, especially when you’re aware of how easily that frustration can be misinterpreted into coming off, as the, ‘angry’ black man . Sometimes I think,that, frustration is meant to be there for the viewer to figure out what to do with that frustration in their own way. Whether its getting likeminded people together for a protest/rally, spreading information about eminent domain to be prepared in advanced or using this situation as a learning moment of, maybe these people went through this, back then…What’s stopping the government from doing this right now? |History Echoes Reveal | December 8, 2025
